Frequently Asked Questions
Go Outdoor Movies advertises their inflatable screens be viewable width!
This means our 30-ft screen is 30-ft wide x 17-ft tall, which comes out to a 36.5' diagonal if measured like a TV!
Other companies tend to oversell their screen sizes by advertising diagonal or even including the overall size of the inflatable frame. This means a 12-ft screen (12'x7') is advertised as a "16-ft screen". We have even seen companies advertise their 24' x 13.5' screens as a "45 ft screen" which is super misleading in our honest opinion.
Our Goal is to IMPRESS you with how big our inflatable screens are, not oversell!

Yes, although additional fees may apply for areas farther out. Remember, prices do not include sales tax.
No. We arrive early to set up so you get the entire rental time to play and enjoy the big screen! The 3 hour time does not include tear down either.
End of Civil Twilight. That is when most of the ambient light from the setting sun has dwindled down. That allows for the maximum brightness and quality of the screen. End of Civil Twilight is approximately 26 minutes after sunset. You can visit timeanddate.com and search your date for the Sunset and Civil Twilight times.
We've rented some really dirty screens from other companies in the past. Are they always that dirty?
NO! The screen will be clean when you get it. Go Outdoor Movies cleans our screens and inflatables after every rental.
Currently, our outdoor movie equipment is near brand new but we know how to take care of our equipment to make them last. Our outdoor movie equipment will outlast and outshine other competitors. We go the extra mile to ensure our equipment is the absolute BEST looking, BEST sounding, and overall BEST experience possible. We do not show the best possible picture and show up with an old unit. You can visit our Facebook page and our Instagram page for the latest pictures. Every time we put them up we take a picture and post it so you know exactly what condition and shape they are in.

The 12' wide airscreen is airtight so NO, you will NOT need to have the blower attached and running continuously. It makes for a much quieter movie. As temperatures drop in the night the air in the movie screen decreases, in some cases it may cause sagging. However, in less than 60 seconds more air can be put into the screen making it an easy problem to solve for anybody!
The larger 20ft, 24ft, and 30ft screens will need to have a blower attached and on the entire time. Don't worry though, our incredible sound system will easily cover the sound so you won't even know the blower is on.
Yes. A blower keeps air in the inflatable screen the entire time. Once unplugged they deflate. Power is also required to run the projector, speakers, and etc. That's why we require an outlet within 100 feet of the unit or a generator. Longer cords can pop your circuit breaker so we bring our own heavy-duty cords.

We love setting up at parks but most parks do NOT have electricity. If you want to set up at a park, you must rent a generator. We rent generators at a reasonable cost. Also, parks are first come, first serve so get your spot early in the day.
Cash, Credit Cards, or Checks. If paying by cash, please have exact change as our drivers do not carry cash.
Please check out our cancellation policy page for details.
Yes, all orders require a 50% Credit Card deposit on the rental total.
Our screens come in a wide variety of sizes, but they are all HUGE. It's our goal to carry a variety of screen sizes so we will have the screen YOU need for your event!
Birthday parties and similar style "private" events do not require any type of licensing for movies. However, larger outdoor showings typically require a license since it is considered a "public viewing" of a movie.
When booking your outdoor movie, we can help guide you to decide whether or not you need the license, and how to properly attain it. We can also handle it for you if needed for an additional charge.

We can set up on Grass (our favorite, safest, and best for the kids), dirt, asphalt, and concrete. Sorry, we can't set up on any type of rocks as the possibility of puncturing the inflatable is too high.
Yes. There is a link in your receipt once you've ordered or you may contact our office.
Yes! We will always try to accommodate as best as we can to make sure your event is a success! The biggest issue we typically run into is our screens are HUGE, so making sure there is proper roof height is crucial. We always recommend doing it in a large area like a gym or theater.
